Getting Ready To Go

In 2 days my farmer and his daughter are leaving.
They are flying with love and prayers to a third world country.
A life long dream for both of them.
Because of your generosity, financially and prayerfully,
these two are going to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

We pack suitcases full of baby cereal and formula.
I pray.

We want this bag to hold these tangible items but more importantly
We want the love of Jesus to be known.

We have known help.
We have know grace.
In the face of dire financial times and deepest grief; we were held,
by our heavenly father.
But also by those around us.
A loving note.
A hug in the bank parking lot.
Dinners left on the porch.
Front porch visits and prayer.
We know what it is to receive.

An entire missions trip funded.

James 1:17
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Now.
We are giving back.
We will be posting here, on the blog, updates from the trip.
Won't you sign up to receive us in your mail box so you won't miss a post?
Thank you again for your wild commitment to spreading the gospel.
Thank you also for your love of our family.
We are so encouraged by your comments and notes.
Here we go.
Expecting great things.

Will you take a moment and listen to this song and pray for all these farmer who will leave their chores and the land they love. . .  to go?
