A Promise To Return

He's leaving.
It's only for  3 weeks. The same as he's been here.
But it's still a goodbye.
It's been great having him here.
Our new farm worker.
It's been a relief.
I wonder though.
Will he really like it here?
I think about his wife and kids.

Such a culture shift.
But we are believers in the One true God.
Lovers of the King of Kings.
There are no divisions.
No separations.
We are all brothers and sisters in Christ.
When we are called according to His purposes, there are only yeses and Amens.

2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen,
to the glory of God through us.

So 3 weeks will go quickly.
All of first cut should be finished.
Though without Hoss, we are not sure how.
He planted a garden before he left.
A promise to return.
He dug deep into the rich soil of this land,
and planted the seeds of hope.
The hope of what's to come.
A harvest yielded at a later time.
A time of waiting.
In 3 weeks we'll meet the family and walk towards all God has for this farm.
New beginnings.
More change.
Glad there is One that will forever remain Unchanged.
